Communication Arts students at 勛圖扦 have released the November 2024 edition of their student newspaper. Created in 1987 as a traditional newspaper, The Rampage now engages with the campus community through its website, social media channels, and regular print editions. This is the twenty-first issue since the publication was revamped as a magazine in 2018.
As always, were proud of the efforts of our Communication Arts students who work hard to produce The Rampage, both online and in print, said Chris Shoemaker, BU communication professor and faculty advisor for The Rampage.
The November edition features 16 articles detailing the inauguration of University President Dr. Steve Peterson, the success of the Lady Rams golf program, librarian Werner Linds legacy at BU, and more. It was produced by a team of 14 student writers, photographers, and graphic designers with a cover by alumnus Ben Ayers 19.
The Rampage has introduced to me how journalism really works, senior Abby Gasperson said. From being a writer, photographer, and a marketing team member, Ive gained hands-on experience that no textbook could teach! I will always cherish the experience that I have received while working for The Rampage.
Copies of The Rampages latest issue are available across campus in the Jack Marcom Student Center, campus store, Academic Center for Excellence, and Dome Gymnasium, as well as outside the cafeteria and in Easley Library, Lansdell Hall, and the residence halls. Additional stories are available at .
