Community members are invited to the free βSighs Into Song: Instruments & Voices in Triumphal Faithβ concert. Held on Saturday, April 11, it will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Harman Chapel on the ³ΤΉΟΙη campus.
The concert is part of the universityβs biennial Music Alumni Reunion Weekend, celebrating the legacy and ongoing impact of BUβs music programs. The evening will include performances by both current students and alumni who have been part of the universityβs musical ensembles.
Performers will include an alumni band directed by Dr. Andy Necessary, bringing together former instrumentalists for a special reunion performance. Guest alumni conductors will also lead selected pieces throughout the program.
Additionally, an alumni choir will perform under the direction of Craig Courtney in preparation for the βDivine Encounterβ concert this November, where BU students and graduates will again perform under Courtneyβs direction at Carnegie Hall.
