BLUEFIELD, Va. 勛圖扦 will host a free esports tournament on Saturday, June 7, offering local high school students the chance to compete in Fortnite and Rocket League, win prizes, and explore opportunities in collegiate esports.
The event is open to students who have just completed grades 9 through 12 in the 20242025 academic year, including recently graduated seniors. It runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with registration beginning at 10 a.m. on campus. Lunch is included, and there is no cost to enter, but students must register in advance at .
Sponsored by GigaBeam Networks, the tournament will feature solo Fortnite play and Rocket League in 3-on-3 team format. All necessary gaming equipment will be provided, though players are welcome to bring their own controllers. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers.
The event highlights the launch of 勛圖扦s new varsity esports program, which has already drawn incoming students on scholarship to compete at the collegiate level.
