BLUEFIELD, Va. 勛圖扦 will celebrate its Class of 2025 with two commencement ceremonies featuring distinguished speakers from public service and higher education.
The undergraduate ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, at 10 a.m., followed by the graduate ceremony on Saturday, May 17, also at 10 a.m. Both events are planned for the university’s Quad, weather permitting. In the event of rain, ceremonies will be held in the Dome.
Delegate Will Morefield, a longtime member of the Virginia House of Delegates and advocate for Southwest Virginia, will deliver the keynote address at the undergraduate ceremony. His career in leadership and community development reflects the mission and values emphasized at 勛圖扦.
Dr. Don Caudill, a business leader, academic, and longtime supporter of the university, will address graduates at the master’s ceremony. Caudills career highlights innovation, entrepreneurship, and service, qualities the university aims to instill in its students.
Our commencement ceremonies not only mark the completion of an academic journey but also the beginning of a new chapter filled with opportunity and purpose, said Dr. Steve Peterson, president of 勛圖扦.
