M.A. In Biomedical Sciences – Location and Community
The MABS program is taught at the VCOM-Virginia campus, in Blacksburg. MABS students have access to the main VCOM building, its library and all study spaces. Additionally, the program has an 80-seat classroom dedicated to MABS students. As the home of Virginia Tech, Blacksburg is a typical college town. Being a Bluefield program on the VCOM campus provides the nurturing feel of a small private college, but the location in Blacksburg also provides access to the resources and activities of a larger university and its associated community. Outdoor leisure and recreational activities are plentiful in the area.
